I am retired now and love that I few pressures to be or do anything. I still have too many books to read though 😊

I stay at home and in my home town more these days. That feels like a real change and movement towards simplicity.

That’s so interesting- I’ve been pining for more activity locally, rather than keeping going miles, for quite some time. It’s moving in that direction more and more for me too and I love it ❤️

This resonates so deeply. I too in midlife are examining how to live a simpler life that still has pleasure and stimulation but maybe of a different kind. Happy to be on the journey here with you and love the question you return to

So glad you’re here, Jen! I think you’ve articulated something really important there about still needing pleasure in simplicity. I know at times I’ve been far too puritanical, which just doesn’t work.
